The aXenic team recently attended the UK Space Conference in Manchester learning about the latest in Space based technology. We saw some cutting edge applications including Lunar Satellite Comms, LEO Debris clearing, Space Based Solar Power and lots lots more.
Also lovely to catch up with our colleagues at Space North East England and the other UK regional clusters.
The UK Space industry is looking healthy too with UK Space Agency's Paul Bate announcing that the Space and Satellite economy is now worth £454 billion (18% GDP) and that the UK Government has identified Satellite Communications as one of five national space capability priorities. The UK Space Agency has also announced £4.5 million in funding to back specific projects in this area.
Lots done, more to do!
Looking forward to UK Space 2027.
